How to throw an axe
Step 1.
Visualize the target. Picture yourself throwing the axe and sticking it in the center of the bull’s-eye.
Step 2.
Place both hands on the axe. Have a firm grip on the handle.
Make sure the blade is perfectly straight. Bring the axe back, over your head.
Step 3.
Lean back and bring the axe forward in a smooth motion and release with your arms extended forward.
KODIAXE FAQ’s
IS IT SAFE?
YES! Our lanes are enclosed with metal fencing, so there’s no worry about ricochet or stray tosses. Our Axe’s really aren’t all that sharp–we put just enough edge on them so they stick, but not too much to annihilate the wooden targets. Just the perfect amount. Each of our axes are hand inspected to ensure they are up to snuff and ready for safe adventure!
CAN YOU TEACH ME?
ABSOLUTELY. We’re here to help you have a safe, fun, pleasurable experience. We’re experts at this, so let us help you get your toss on by showing you how it’s done. Just come on in and we’ll get you started!
